Closed for the Holidays

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem is closed for Christmas Eve.  We’ve selected this track to celebrate the holidays: Wynton Marsalis’s Crescent City Christmas Card  was released in 1990 with fresh arrangements and memorable turns on “Silent Night” by opera diva Kathleen Battle, and on “Sleigh Ride” by Jon Hendricks. Enjoy this throwback music video straight from 1989 where Wynton Marsalis reads “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to a group of children and a plays “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” written in 1945 and has been performed by Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and many other jazz greats.
