Harlem based, Grammy-winning producer Omen and journalist Seve Chambers (WSJ, Fast Company, Okayplayer) will join Brandee Younger on Tuesday, March 13th for what promises to be an engaging listening party and discussion.
Omen has produced for artists such as Drake, Beyoncé, Action Bronson, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Fabolous, Redman, among many others will provide insight on incorporating live musicians in his music. He will also demonstrate his process of creating live beats, featuring harp.
This night promises to be one not soon forgotten.
Curated by harpist Brandee Younger, a leading voice on the life and music of both Alice Coltrane and Dorothy Ashby.
In addition to her work in classical and jazz, Younger, whose first major recording was on a Bad Boy Records artists’ album in 2006, has made hip-hop a major part of her career.
