SOLD OUT: Jon Batiste plays Duke’s Keys
When the National Jazz Museum in Harlem received a white 1917 Kramer baby grand piano that belonged to Duke Ellington, it came along with the request that it be played. In our second Duke’s Keys performance, our own Co-artistic director Jon Batiste will join us for one night of solo piano.
If you are a long time Museum member, you remember the countless nights in the back room of the United Methodist Church on 126th and Madison where Jon Batiste and Stay Human honed their craft to a packed room. We continue that energy with this solo piano show at the Museum.
