Harmony in Harlem

An Evening Program for Young Musicians Celebrating Harlem Jazz

Harmony in Harlem

Harmony in Harlem
This is a new jazz big band dedicated to music written by great Harlem composers. We are looking for students (5 - 12th grade) who play all instruments. Harmony in Harlem is open to all students from all boroughs.

Students will not only form a jazz band, they will also learn music theory and related skills that will enable them to improvise and create their own unique jazz sound (with a lot of hard work!).

Location and time have changed!

Tues. and Thurs. from 4-6pm
