Under the leadership of Executive Director Loren Schoenberg, and Co-Director Christian
McBride, the Jazz Museum in Harlem has gone from an idea to a significant contributor to the
education and cultural experience of jazz in Harlem, and without the benefit of a permanent
home, has functioned, as a “virtual museum” by launching a variety of innovative programs,
such as:
