This performance and conversation series curated and hosted by saxophonist Sam Newsome takes an in-depth look at African-inspired jazz and jazz musicians who create from an African sensibility. The series will feature scholars, writers and musicians presenting thought provoking talks and innovative musical performances. Join us as we celebrate the re-opening of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem with this landmark series.
