Vinyasa Jazz Flow with Karim Spaulding and Kelly Green
The National Jazz Museum in Harlem invites you to virtual Move and Groove. We invite you to join us from the safety of your homes for a 60-minute vinyasa flow yoga set to live jazz. We are excited to bring the signature experience to you so that you may take it at your own pace at any time.
This carefully curated sequence seamlessly unites mind and body with skillful postures and mindful breathing that flow towards deep relaxation.
This virtual experience, premiering March 24th will feature certified Yoga Instructor Karim Spaulding and features piano accompaniment of Kelly Green.
Karim “Goose” Spaulding has been practicing yoga for 8yrs. Three years ago he decided to make a leap forward in his personal practice by earning his teaching credentials. For a young man from the Bronx, New York, yoga wasn’t something accessible nor particularly well known so Karim was caught completely off guard by how connected he felt with this ancient practice. Yoga’s transformative powers allowed Karim a path to generational healing and personal well-being which he brings to his students. Currently Karim is teaching remote learning courses for the DOE after-school programs in partnership with St. Nicks Alliance and also hosts 4 Zoom sessions a week online.
